Along with that adding the ability to not just have one focal point, but multiple focal pints, while still being able to blur out the background or things the editor doesn’t want the photo to focus on.

First, I think adding a free form focus area in the Lens Blur instead of shapes would be AMAZING. I’m rating 4 stars, to possibly grab your attention on a few new suggestions to add into the apps editing features. I really love using this app to edit all my photos.

    You can see more examples here and read their full deep-dive into HDR+ with Bracketing.The Dark Theme is now available in Settings I also wouldn’t be surprised if eventually they add this technique to the Google Camera app. I wouldn’t be surprised if other companies start tweaking their own versions HDR+/Night Sight to include longer exposures. In the older 4 and 4a it’s currently only in the Night Sight mode. HDR+ with Bracketing is already working in the Pixel 5 and 4a 5G in the normal camera mode, along with Night Sight and Portrait modes. They don’t dig into the details, but do say it’s related to the processing they use for their Super Res Zoom. Not just correctly exposing the final image, with as minimal noise as possible, but reducing blur and ghosting that’s basically inherent in multiple-exposure hand-held photography. The secret sauce to all this, of course, is the final processing. replaces 3 underexposed frames with longer exposures to help reduce noise. On the top is the original Night Sight, taking 15 underexposed images.
